Andrew: four months

Andrew is already 4 months old! He weighs in at 16 1/2 lbs (76%) and is 28" long (99%). He has lost almost all the dark hair he was born with. Just a little on top is left. He's entered a more fussy faze. But after a little research, I found the "Wonder Weeks" chart and it seems that it's pretty normal for his age, and will pass soon. His naps are also shorter, now only 40 minutes usually. It seems we get on a schedule that will last for a little while, and then he changes it up again! Right now he is up around 8am and nurses. Naps at 10am. Nurses at 12. Naps at 2pm. Nurses at 3pm. Naps at 5pm. Nurses at 6pm. Nurses at 8pm. And to bed by 9-10pm. He still spits up a lot. And drools too- perhaps teething? Andy loves to sit up with help, and be held more often. One thing that makes him smile the most is being sung to. He also likes to sit and look at the toys in the excersaucer. He rarely will take his pacifier now. For a week or two he wouldn't take it at all when sleepy, but would want to nurse instead. Now he'll take it to calm down a little when sleepy, but will spit it out after a minute or so. He started waking up in the middle of the night about a week ago, but after some Ferber method crying it out, he's back to sleeping through the night. He also cries for just a few minutes when put down for a nap, but then falls asleep by himself. We sure love our Andy!
