At the beginning of December I was 15 weeks along. The pregnancy is going fine, but I have been tired and nauseas as usual. I finally started feeling a little better around 17-18 weeks.
We love doing all our family traditions to get ready for Christmas like making snowflakes, decorating a gingerbread house, seeing Christmas lights, and reading a Christmas book every night before bed. We had Grandma and Grandpa Neff visit us and had a blast! Andy especially loved Grandpa. They were great buddies! Grandpa read about a Civil War commemoration just down the street, so everyone (except me and Andy) went to see what it was all about. They got to see old guns and cooking things and learn about the times. They had a fun time. The kids got a little "passport" stamped when they went to each station. At the end, they turned them in for a drawing. The next week, 3 men dressed up in their Civil War outfits showed up at Emery's school to tell him he'd won $50 for his classroom! It was very exciting for him!
After Grandma and Grandpa left we had a few other fun things to do. We went to a Christmas parade in Fountain Inn. It was a little slow going, but the kids loved that the floats and cars threw candy! It was very cold though and we left a little early before we froze off some toes!
We also went to Michelin's annual Christmas party. We did ice skating, face painting, bouncies, a craft, and saw Santa.
On New Year's Eve we decided to try something new! We got some fireworks! Nothing fancy and we did them at 6PM, but it was still a lot of fun! We had some little fountains, sparklers, and pops! Lucy has been asking every day for more!
