Lucy: 3 years

Lucy is 3 years old! She weighs 28lbs (22nd%) and is 39" tall (90th%)

Lucy likes to pick out her own clothes and shoes now. She is getting to be independent more and more. Sometimes she still does like to be held and cuddled though. She is completely potty trained (we started right before Andy was born). She has one nap around 1pm and sleeps until 3ish. She gets put to bed at 7pm with Emery, but it usually takes her a little longer to fall asleep than him. She's usually asleep by 8:30pm and then up in the morning by 7am. She is really loving to play pretend in her toy kitchen and with her baby dolls. But, she also loves to play outside at the park; especially the swings. She loves to play with Emery and Andy but still fights with Emery of coarse. She loves to snack and have small meals throughout the day. He favorite foods are salad, "squeezy fruit" (applesauce in a pouch), mac and cheese, fruit snacks, and all treats and candy. She speaks very well (or so says the pediatrician) and really talks non-stop.

She loves to have mommy put braids and "plastics" in her hair and have her toenails painted. She loves to go on outings and shopping with mommy and often asks first thing in the morning, "Where are we going today?"

Her all time favorite song is still "I am a child of God", but she also loves itsy bitsy spider, wheels on the bus, open and shut them, a child's prayer, and sunbeams. The other day she said, "I don't like spiders and bugs; just squirrels and frogs." She also loves birds, dogs, and cats. Lucy and Emery love to say prayers. They often fight over who gets to say the prayer, so we try to take turns! If one says the dinner prayer the other says the family bed time prayer. Lucy's favorite shows are Barney, Tinkerbell, Land Before Time, Mickey Mouse, and Disney movies (Little Mermaid, Aristocats, etc). It is so fun seeing her little personality emerge! She is not shy most of the time and will talk to people at the library, park, or doctor. She is our favorite little girl!
