Our first full day in Paris was Sunday. We found where the local ward met and were able to attend sacrament meeting. We were in a separate room that was getting the English translation. It was a unique excperience attending church in Paris.
After lunch we went to the Sacre Coeur Basillica. We walked around the grounds and walked through inside as well. Then we walked the streets in the area which is called Montmartre (which is an old art district). We had a book with a walking tour of the area. We saw the apartment (door) where Vincent Van Gogh once lived. We saw the last vinyard in the area too. We stopped at a little hole in the wall creperie and got some yummy hot dessert crepes! It was quite cold walking around!
Later we went to a Science museum. We saw a little planetarium show (with English translation headsets) and walked around the exhibits until we were exhausted! They had a cool silver dome out back which we also went to look at briefly before heading back inside to warm up!
